Data we collect

When you use SnapLedger, we collect the email address you provide during registration, the expense records you create or save, and the purchase screenshots you upload for recognition. Screenshots are sent to our AI provider for processing and are not stored by SnapLedger after the recognition result is returned.

AI provider

SnapLedger sends the screenshots you upload to a third-party AI provider for text extraction. The original image is transmitted for processing only and is not retained. The AI provider may process the image according to its own privacy policies. We do not use your screenshots to train AI models.

Data storage

Your account information and expense records are stored on servers managed by Neon (PostgreSQL) and Vercel. Data is stored in the United States. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal expense records will be removed within 30 days.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary data with service providers (AI provider, email provider, payment processor) solely to operate the SnapLedger service. Payment data is processed by Creem and is subject to Creem's privacy policy.

Cookies

SnapLedger uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your expense records at any time through your account. You can request account deletion by contacting support. We will remove your personal data within 30 days of a verified deletion request.
